Terminal Rodoviário Tietê – Tiete Bus Station

The Tiete Station, located in Sao Paulo’s North Zone, is the second largest bus station in the world. It is open 24 hours a day and serves over 1,000 cities in 21 Brazilian States, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile and Peru. There are around 135 ticket counters, selling tickets for over 300 bus lines that have buses arriving and departing from 89 platforms. It is big! Navigating to your destination in the city is easy, as Terminal Tiete is connected to the Blue Line of the SP metro system.

The Barra Funda Station, located in Sao Paulo’s West Zone, caters to 573 cities, in six Brazilian states, and even to Bolivia. Barra Funda Station is a metro station, intercity bus station, local bus station and train station, all in one building. For this reason, it can be a bit tricky. You will want to look for the long row of intercity bus ticket counters to retrieve your ticket. Most trips from here are for those seeking weekend getaways to the beach. If arriving in Sao Paulo at Jabaquara Station, you can get to your city destination easily, as it is connected to the Blue Line of the metro.
Terminal Rodoviário Guarulhos – Guarulhos Bus Station
